Overheating problem
Overheating problem
Ok here's my problem. A little while ago I was driving my car down the highway (doing about 160kpm) when my car suddenly would not respond when I hit the gas, it was just gradually slowing down. I knew something was wrong immediately, so I got to the side, hit the brakes and turned her off. Then the needle on the temp gauge buried itself, and a little bit of smoke came out from under the hood.
I got my car towed to my house, and now when I start it up there's a very loud clicking noise from under the hood. The noise is really strange because it's there when the car is idoling, but sometimes when you press the gas it goes away and sometimes the clicking gets worse.
What should I be looking at?
