Code 41? What the heck is it?

This is on a 85 LG4 setup. It is a 350 but I retained the 305 computer carb and dist. I just started driving it and am getting a code 41. I looked it up but am at school right now and dont remember exactly what it said. It said something about checking for a ground at some terminal. I didnt know how to find this terminal. I think it said something about this only being necissary on v8 engines whatever it was. What should I do?

Momar,

41 EST circuit failure - no distributer pulses

If th eengine runs, you know that you have distributor pulses, but the EST isn't getting them. Check the EST connections and bypass connector to make sure they are intact.

What all connections could cause this? There is the one at the est module right. Then I also will have the ones at the dist. What terminals do I need to check. Thanks for the response.
