oil leak

Alright i took my car to a trans shop, the guy said he put the car on the lift and took apart the trans to take a look at it, i get the car back, and now it's leaking oil, it's leaking so badly that in less than three days i'm completely depleted on oil. Did it just start leaking out of nowhere? or did the guy do something to start the leak? Please help me!

First off, Is it leaking motor oil, or transmission oil? Can you pinpoint where the leak is coming from?

sry about that i should have been more specific, it's leaking motor oil, and it's hard pinpointing where the leak is coming from, there might be two leaks? one in the middle of the car, and one by the back.

Step 1 & 2: locate 12 gauge shotgun & 1 shotgun round
Step 3 & 4: locate drivable vehicle, drive said vehicle to auto shop.
Step 5: locate mechanic that worked on your last vehicle
Step 6: insert pellets from 12 gauge round into mechanics
head via shotgun
Step 7: find a different shop.

so hmm, he most likely did something to start the leak, didn't
replace a gasket, something like that. IMO I would have
the car towed back to the shop, at his expense, please do
not drive the car, you could risk damage with a leak that big.

call them up and tell them what's going on, say you want it fixed
and it only started after they started working on it. try to get a
different mechanic at that shop to work on it. and finally, after
you get it fixed, don't EVER go to that shop again.

Remember, you get what you pay for.

Oh, what was he tearing down the tranny for?
