The belt could be loose, but if your ride has a serpentine system that's not very likely unless the belt tensioner is bad. On a v belt system that's entirely possible. Which do you have?
One thing to think about: when you put the new pump and lines in, did you make sure all the air was out of the lines? You may have to fill that reservoir up some more. check the fluid level and see where it's sitting, I'd be willing to bet that could be your problem.

I will say the my belt doesnt look like is loose ,it seems tight and its not a serpentine..the reservoir is just a little over the line on the cold..just perfect but about what u said Quick_Trans_Am
i'm not so sure...it could be air in the lines..(a friend just told me that too)..also he said that to get rid of that i will have to disconnect the return line and let it spill some fluid+air till i c just fluid coming out of it...do you think this should solve my problem or it is not recommended??
Thanks.

Vader...i will have to say that yes..hydraulic fluid was leaking bad and it was all around the belts..after i installed the new pump and cranck the engine up there was some smoke (burning fluid on belts i guess) but now is all gone..now..i will say that belt is not new,it shows some wear on it...do you think that even with belt tight and spinning it could be a wear out belt??

You can try cleaning the belt and sheave, then retension the belt. Use a fast evaporating solvent or hot, soapy water and a through hot rinse. If the rubber covering of the belt is already saturated and has started to glaze, it may be time to change the belts. It's a good idea to change every few seasons anyway.
