Engine boggs and tach fluctuates intermittenlty

I've changed the pickup coil, distributor, spark plugs and wires, egr valve, replaced fuel pump, and filter. I've gone to the dealer twice and paid over $700.00 total and still my car boggs out intermittently. Help!! Any other ideas? Note: No codes noted.

have you replaced the spark coil? I assume you ahve but i dont see it listed. Coudl also be caused by maybe a ground fault somewhere causing intermittant power loss. Id check allt he ground straps on the engine and the connection at the battery.

Thanks guys....after checkin all possible solutions, I finally found the problem. It was the alternator power wire. A reputable audio company installed a one wire 140 amp alternator on my car about two yrs ago. I guess the heat of the engine got to the wires. The wire leading from the alternator to the battery looked burned. I spliced the outer skin and the wires were dark brown. I replaced the wire with a new 4 gauge wire from the audio shop. The boggin went away!!!!....:lala:
