What should oil pressure be at stock for a 305 TPI speed density?

I switched from regular 5w30, to Castro Synetc (part synthetic oil)a few months ago.
I noticed my oil pressure dropped since then. It now hovers around the 30psi mark. And sometimes drops when deaccelerating. anyone?

Hmmm.... I run Valvoline synthetic 10w30, and I get a constant 45psi while cruising, and 60 when the car is cold and warming up. 5w30 is too thin, IMO, for a motor with any decent number of miles on it. Mine has 87k.

Should be around 25 psi idling and 50 to 55 cruising... you might want to just swap out your sending unit before you start getting really excited, those go bad alot
