i posted before but I think it was unclear.
700r4 tranny.
Anyway, I took off the button (it was just two lil prongs that went over the very top of the stem part of the shift lever. ) and the circular ball and discovered just a lil ring type deal and a slot in the actual shift stem/lever. I can't secure the ball part back on no matter where i put the pin on the lever. Am I missing something? How do you assemble that back togehter?
