Transmission: T56
auto tranny misses a shift??
ok i was runnin down this import last night and i was at WOT when it got to the top of the RPMs it shifted or atleast it tried to...it acted as if it were in neutral and the RPMs flew up. so i let off the throttle and it got into gear and i proceeded to beat the imports *** . what went wrong? i just had my tranny rebuilt about 2 months ago with a transgo shift kit. thanks

Check your fluid level. Also were you in D or OD? If you were in OD you may have blown the forward sprag. Also if your fluid is low then you can't get the pressur to push and hold the gears together.
