I guess the concept is OK. Don't know where I would put it though with the MAF and all.

Wow, 4 horsepower and an ugly piece of garbage plastic looking thing in your engine bay for only $300. No thanks.

Well, that's why i put it up. It seems ridiculous to me, but when guys are dropping $329 into a granatelli MAF for 5-10 hp, this seems like an equal $/hp ratio. I'll just stick with my 4bbl and a lumpy cam, thank you very much.

Hmmn. "1 psi" and 15% more HP? Did I read that correctly..

Or, if you've got a few bucks..

SUPER E-RAM electric supercharger with K&N cone filter, adapter for mounting to 2.7" to 3.5" Diameter intake opening, all accessories (mounting hardware with wiring harness with connectors, 2 power relay units, accellerator activation switch, and complete directions.) $639.00

These guys are in the 714 area code..'bout 6hours South of me...if closer, If closer, I'd love the oppurtunity to install the 299 kit and have them "guarantee" (see the website) thier claims.

Brings up an intersesting obsevation though...if you were to take two of the 299 units and stack them....would you be better off than with just the single "Super e Ram" at 639? (plus shipping and handling ofcourse"

what a waste of money. I read something interesting on one of the 6 cyl. super charged benzs in an SAE mag. They said that the scroll type supercharger they where useing consumed in excess of 60 HP. Compare that to your 1 hp electric motor. It takes alot of power to compress all that air. The motor will probably consume more power then it makes and just put unnecesary loads on the charging system
