IS MY LG4 so posed to be this fast......
i always heard it was such a slow motor but i did a whole catback and headers and dual snorkel intake and this thing will roast the tires without dropping it from like 2000. Also should a lg4 sqeak the tires if u gun it in first and then squeak em again in second. the guy i bought it from may have been mistaken....

I was going to say that having an open rear would make it very easy to spin your 'tire', but you say you have 3.27s, and to my knowledge they never made open 9 bolt rear ends. The main things that choke the LG4 are the tiny camshaft and the pathetic exhaust. You replaced the exhaust, and on that motor freeing up the exhaust is worth a solid 15-20hp. You probably did 25hp in mods between the exhaust and intake, bringing you up to around 185hp. That's good for a mid to high 15 in the 1/4 mile. Replace the cam and intake manifold and you'll see 14s without a doubt.
