is anyone running the tpis zz-9 cam?......my motor right now is a 350 c.i. tpi. its bored 30 over, roller rockers/ lifters, headers,ported&polished vortec 64 cc heads, ported plenum, sdpc vortec intake, 24# injectors, edelbrock runners, 10-1 compression, im looking for a hyd roller for this new setup. does anyone know the kind of horsepower/torque #s this setup will produce, and is there a better cam that i can use for this application?...i want it to make everything it can at or below 5500 rpm. thanks

 

Until recently I was using the ZZ9, good cam. I had buckets of power down low and to about 5000. I never made it to the dyno though before I got the blower bug...

I can say I really upset my friend and his 99 Slowbra(Cobra!). He was running mid-high 12s. I also never made it to the track.

I had a 383, AFR 190s, 11:1, and much more I don't feel like typing now...

You could also look into the LPE 219 cam. Many a TGOer are using that cam with great results...
