installing harmonic balancer

i am about to order an ATI 7" balancer... will this clear everything near it.. is there any installing mishaps to look for... and is my stock one an 8"?

Ummm, the BFH is the last thing in the world I would do to that high $$ ATI damper, it will almost certainly damage it. Just use a harmonic balancer installation tool. At the local auto zone here, they make you leave a deposit and you can borrow tools. I bet they have that one available. Check it out.
Oh yeah, you did not state what year model engine and type it is.. 305 and 350 dampers are different. I am using a 6 3/4" internal balance streetdampr for my 350.
