ok i just got an 86 t/a 305 tpi It has been messed with ALOT i just noticed that the a/c and air pump is missing with the egr stuff...will this cause my car to idle wierd? or is it the tps? to describe the problem when first starting the car when cold it idles so low that it dies....so i gotta hold the gas alittle for it not to die then after it warms up it idles up 1300 in park and about 750 when in drive .....any ideas??

 

scan it for codes, make sure the tune up is good and the tps adjusted correctly
