84 Camaro won't fire up!!!!

I just replaced the starter on this Camaro and had to take the exhaust down to get the damn thing outta there, but had some problems with my cold-*** hands lining the Y up, so I was just gonna get it running and into a warm shop, but the damn thing refuses to start. It cranks like a sonofabitch, but won't fire up. The passenger's side flange is hooked to the manifold, but the driver's side is kinda open (yet supported), is this keeping the car from starting? I found that the IGN/ECM fuse was blown and replaced it, but it didn't do anything.

Any ideas?

Kelly

OK... first why did you replace the starter? Was it because of hard starts or something that may not have been starter related?

Secondly, what is the battery voltage? If something is shorting, then that will blow fuses and drain the battery and no start.

Gas and electricity are the next two things to look at...

When you replaced the starter did you get all the power distribution wires hooked back up? If so are they touching the loose exhaust and shorting out. Check the fusible links for burnout!
