Transmission: Turbo 350, w/shift kit

Could i do this?

I have an 84 Z28. What i am wondering is this, is it possible to rewire the wiper motor. its the 2 speed motor, here is the problem. It has to plugs that go into it, 1 that has for wires, i have that one. BUT the other plug that has 2 wires going into it was cut, i think i found ONE of the wire (its purple, but never hot). Can i just splice into other wires for this or what? If so what kind of wire do i need to splice into...hot when car is on, off, never ect ect. Thanks.

It should all work as designed if you wire it like this:
