idle jumpin while drivin
Recently once in a while when Im at about half pedal my rpms will jump about 500 rpms up and down. It doesnt do it all the time either.
My belts are worn. Could that be it or is it something else? The check engine light is on by the way if that helps.
Any guesses?

might just be a bad tach, do you feel anything to go with the change or is it all just on the tach? if you know you have bad belts or anything else you ought to fix it before it becomes a real problem.

no the car like actually lurches back and forth I can feel it. Im getting the belts and the check engine light fixed on friday morning. I hope it doesnt cost much. Id do the belts myself but its like 10 degrees most days. Bump that!
