This site is great. I was wondering if I left my egr valve off if it would trigger a checke engine light. Its out right now and a blockoff plate would be no problem. The only left over is the one single wire going to the egr. I think its a temp sensor maybe? So if anyone knows thanks for your help.

 

you have to delete it in the chip as well. If not the computer will advance the timing and you may have detonation.
