best bang for a grand?

well, i am condidering purchasing a 91 camaro.... according to the owner it has already been modified (1976-4-BOLT MAIN BLOCK BORED 60-OVER, EDL INTAKE, HOLLEY CARB, CAM DYNAMICS HIGH LIFT, ALUM ROLLERS, HYD LIFT, NEW HEADS, CUSTOM REAR, CUSTOM SPRINGS.)

what is the next best thing i can do for this car performancewise for 1 grand or less? and is it worth it?

you didnt mention any exhaust work.. if this car has stock exhaust its severly limiting the modded engines ability to breathe.. if that is the case my vote would be for some slp 1 3/4th headers and a good highflow cat with a good flowing catback exhaust system.

I agree. If the exhaust has not been upgraded it needs to be. I would vote for a 1st class exhaust system from the headers to the tail pipe. You should see a good gain in horsepower. Allen

Decent exhaust, if it doesn't already have it and a Vigilante 2800 stall torque converter.
