wont shift down

hey guys hows it going? I just put this stage 1 700 r4 with a shift kit in it and it wont shift down from 2nd to 1st but WILL shift down from 3rd to 2nd and 4rth from 3rd. I've tried the TV adjustment and I did hear the clicking noises and I dont know whats going on. Any ideas?

Thanks

It sounds like the trans/shift kits was assebled wrong. All it takes is a check ball in the wrong location and it will not work right. I tried to instal a B+M shift kit and didnt install it right, put a ball in the wrong spot and burnt up the tranny.
