Where do you look on a block to tell if it's a 305 or 350???

Transmission: was: 700-R4

On the back, on top of driver's side tranny mounting pad. Some blocks have the displacement stamped on them (305s = 5.0L), but most 4.00" bore blocks do not, since the crank determined the CID.
