Headers

I've got a 305 right now but someday I plan on upgrading to a 350.. My question is, can I buy a set of headers meant for a 350 and stick them on the 305? I don't want to have to end up paying for headers twice.

If I do this, what size headers/brand would you guys reccoment for a 350? I know there's a lot of variables in that.. but.. I don't know anything about it. heh

Also, I know headers can be too restrictive.. but could this be too.. unrestrictive, and cause similar negative effects?

sure you can. they may not be the ideal header for your 305, and they might be the same p/n for a 305 or a 350.

As always ede is right. The blocks are both the same, so the same headers will fit both. The only problem, if anything at all, would be you might have to advance your timing a little. But only if you get poping out of your exhuasts. Too little back presure. That way you won't burn up your valves. But if you have the stock muffeler, and cat, you've got nothing to worry about.
