Help me! i have a engine belt problem

I just purchased a 82 camaro z28 and right now im unfimilar with the engine yet, and i noticed it was missing a couple belts. If anyone has belt layouts that would be a great help right now! until then im afraid of driving it because im unsure if one of the missing belts might hurt the engine. Thanks!!!!!

THEY'RE PROBABLY AC, SMOG PUMP' OR POWER STEERING BELTS MISSING. IF YOUR CRANK, ALT., AND WATER PUMP BELTS ARE ON, YOU SHOULD BE ALRIGHT.

Well i know the alternator is hooked up and the water pump it looks like one of the machines u hook to the belt is right underneath the alternator and the other one is on the top right side of the engine.

Under the alternator is your smog pump.Right side top (veiwed from front)is your A/C compressor.Might hear some squeeling from belt slippage.Maybe a little popping from your smog pump not being connected.

Thanks for the help. Im going to look at it again later tonight and maybe get a repair manuel to see the layout of the belts, It looked like the previous owner might have made a mistake with the belts but im not sure yet. If anyone knows how many total belts there should be that would be a help to. Also if anyone has any websites with belt layouts that would be a help to.
Thanks
