82.9 cents per litre here in Calgary.

Everyone here is REALLY mad about this because we are floating on oil and have to pay among the highest prices in the country. Oil companies are just a bunch of crooks here in Cowtown

Damn you don't live to far from me and you get it like 10 cents cheaper.. Ultimate is 2.05 at the one closest to my house, Exxon is now 1.99.. hell the cheapest around for 93 octane is now 1.94.. but on a good note race gas seems to be dropping in price dramatically.. down to 4.45 a gallon when it use to be somewhere in the low 5's.. if the current trend continues I guess I'll just havta run the 110 due to cheaper price :lala:

Gas here was 1.79 for 87
1.89 for 91
1.99 for 94
4.75 for 110 (CAM2 Leaded)

Im in southern Massachusetts. I think we should start knocking Iraq for some oil back to begin pay for the 700 soldiers' lives lost in that sh**hole.

And yes 40 cents a gallon goes to tax, but that is what pays for the interstate system in this country and believe it or not its one of teh few taxes that goes to what it says it does.

Maybe we should stop giving financial aid to countries like Eqypt Lebanon, Syria, and India who cocsistently vote against U.S. initives in teh UN but love living off our tax money....

When teh gas gets real high , thats why I have a Harley

Sorry to vent....

Just keeping this updated, lol. We're over $2.50/gal(and climbing) for our wonderful 91 premium here in CA.

I'm at 2.08 for the crappy Shell 93. Yet 6 miles away Randalls Grocery sells it for 1.92.

Cheapest I've seen in the East Bay Area this week is 2.17 (87 octane) 2.29 (89 octane) and 2.39 (91 octane). This is really starting to hurt my wallet!

Other stations are higher, average being 2.29, 2.39, 2.49.

Man, this is such These petrol prices are making cars in general a depressing hobby. My daily driver '79 DeVille (425/TH400) is now for sale/trade for a stinking VW Bug... that's sad man, but at $56+ a week to fill up? Something's gotta change...

NO GAS DAY!

Taken from an E-Mail List that I am, I recently posted this in Tech/General Engine, but I figured I'd post here too. I figure if we get a big enough response maybe we can get things going in a different direction. Please read, and pass it along if you agree that it's time for change. I'm sorry it's long winded, and not really technical... but we need change.

IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.

AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIEs.

THEREFORE MAY 19TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR behind " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.

THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.

WAITING ON THIS ADMINISTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES THAT THE ARAB NATIONS PROMISED TWO WEEKS AGO?

REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT AT THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON EVERYTHING THAT IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD. FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE MAY 19TH A DAY THAT THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES SAY "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"

Wow i started this and havent possted on since the first one. Filled up the rs today at the same amoco and did $2.14 a gallon for 87 octane. I'm not liking this. I think this is the first time i have ever spent more than 18 bucks to fill any of our f-bodies up. I dont run the tanks real low but still. Havent checked my mileage lately but i can tell you it sucks.
