'87 GTA SES codes 12 and 32

The check engine light on the GTA comes on after about 10 minutes of driving. I pulled the codes and they are 12 and 32. Manual says something about ECM pulses and an EGR problem.. What should I check or replace to fix the problem?

12- is just the code it flashes when the circuit is grounded. This is ok. You should get that when you check the codes. It will flash 3x before it gets to the codes and 3x after it is finished.

32- More than likely it is the egr valve or activation solenoid. Do a search and check other posts for the remedy to this.

My light would come on after about 10 min at cruising speed. I got the code 32 too. Replaced the egr and no problems since.
