How much do you think i will beat it by? i have driven in his car before and it seems pretty powerful and like it pulls alot harder.. when i race at the track and stuff.. it seems as if my car will beat ANY car there off the line .. i mean i blow the hell outta them.. then 5 seconds later they all catch up and pass me.. it pisses me off.. specialy when im racin a 5.0 and i blow the hell out of it.. i think i wont.. then end of the track i loose by a good car length... but still anyone estimate what i will run in the quater mile? and how much do u think i will beat him by .. half a car length more? thanks its very appreciated

The V6 will be rather close if you are stock. Yours runs around 15.4@88-92MPH stock. His runs a high 15 if an auto, or a mid 15 if a 5 speed.

Yeah, u will beat him, but not by much. U need to mod your car to make more power at higher RPM's if u are going to do alot of track racing. Do u have any mods??

so far i have a flowmaster cat back.. doesnt seem to do that much, maybe it does.. im not sure if i want to do anything to the car because i want a 5-speed same car... this auto sucks.. but im not sure my car is very pretty and very low miles.. what kinda things can i do? next i was going to do headers and make it a complete 3" exhaust.. but other then that i dont do any of it myself so im not sure what else i should do.. i heard you can put new gears in and that makes it a hell of a lot faster? is that true .. plus how much would it be just to make ur car a 5-speed probably alot of money? considering i cant do it

I can beat a 98 Firebird in the 1/4 and on the highway.
My brothers' 96 Camaro V6 ran a 16.1 to my 15.2 (this was our very first run ever on a drag strip). I was able to get my car into the high 14's after I took out my 12" sub box outta the car.
Keep in mind that I have the LG4 Carbed V8 that had 155hp stock and my engine has 138K miles without a rebuild.
