engine building questions

well im looking at these pistions b/c they are the right compression ratiio ( i want with whats going to be ported l98 heads but the question i have is these are the type that have to be pressed to the rods and ive seen in catologs the other kind that have the floating pin and im not sure withc one is better or if it really maeks a differance. the blcok and internals i have now is a 87 350 tpi motor with 95 k on it. since i dont have alot of money i was thinking of have the stock rods reconditioned and using them. Im pretty set on what the rest of the motor is goign to look like so if someone could give a soem insight on this , it would be a great help...

nothing wrong with pressed pins, most engines have them. have some arp bolts pressed in the rods and have them resized and you should be fine.
