Another flywheel Question

The Ring gear on mine is only Chewed half way through Horizontally, Meaning that there is plenty of tooth On the tranny side of the gear, and the motor side of the gear is worn down, This is only for a 2" or so Section as well.

The question is simple, Can I just Flip it over ?

I only ask this because I dont know if I can get a new one On schedule for when the motor is going back In.

No. They are not bilaterally symmetrical. And besides that, the 2 sides are different.

They're real commonplace, you can get one at almost any parts store. Or of course, you could get a recycled one.

Hey Bort, you mean the flexplate?? (auto)

Or the flywheel?? (manual)

You can flip a ring gear on a flywheel, but as RB stated, you can't flip a flexplate.

P.S. We got the house. Move in this weekend.
