I was sitting in rush hour stop and go traffic (tipical 220 plus temp - fan on, cool down, fan off) when I hit a mean pot hole @ 40 mph that came up outta nowhere.

Thank God I did'nt bottom out, but man... did it JOLT the car! As soon as I hit it, the SES light flashes and there goes my timing! Ahhh...s#!t!! I say to myself while near flooring it just to maintain 35-40 mph on this busy *** street. I felt like my distributor did an "Exorcist" move on me! I managed to nurse the car home and let it cool down.

I started it about about an hour later, OK, normal power... Drove 2 minutes and it retarded again. Let it rest for the day. The next day it ran like new... no retard to this day (almost a month now)! I should mention that I got a code 51: Prom Error. But the car has been running great ever since! Should I be scared that this will "haunt" me down the road?? What do you guys think? Will I be SOL with this knock sensor down the road?
