Problem installing Rapidfires

Yo guys, I just got a set of #2 Rapidfires and was going to install them in the LB9 IROC. It turns out the hex flats on the Rapidfire's base is significantly lower (closer to the plug's seat) than the plugs that were in the car (Autolite #26), and my plug wrench was bottoming out on the head casting and I wasn't able to tighten them fully. Sheet mon!!! So I go to Wally's and buy a set of Autolite AP26 Platinums, and they install with no problems other than the normal PITA plug install issues.

Now I have to figure out what to do with the unused set of Rapidfires. Get rid of them. ;-)

I found that the plug on cyl #2 was the most difficult to change. The plugs on the back of the motor were easy to change by going in from under the car. Actually I changed more from under the car than from the top. Jeez what a hassle.

Are you sure you got the right plug for your application?
