Quick question about valve covers and PCV
Hey all; I just got a really sweet set of valvecovrs off ebay. They are die cast aluminum with a black wrinkle finish, and brushed aluminum fins on top, with CAMARO in the center, written out of brushed aluminum. Anyway, they don't have holes for oil fill and PCV valves yet. So, I have a couple questions about them that are probably very dumb.
First, the seller said that the pre-punched holes inside the covers are knocked out with either a hammer and socket, or hammer and a stick of wood. Or, they can be cut out. Anyone got any experience with doing this, or know a better way?
Second, I figured that maybe I could get away with just knocking out one hole in like the driver's side valve cover, and leave the passenger's side alone. I figure I could use a breather on that side, and also use that hold as my oil fill. Would that breather supply enough ventilation for the whole crankcase?
Any info/tips/help is appereciated guys!
