OIL leaking from head gaskets?

I have been getting a large leak above my starter and my oil filter . I checked the normal / intake and valve covers. no leak. I noticed i have a bead of oil btween block and head on both sides and only at the rear . every where else is dry . Is this possible where my leak is coming from?

Highly unlikely. Beyond unlikey even; really all but impossible, unles somebody munged the gaskets (BOTH of them) before they put them on.

More likely it's the intake or the valve covers, or possibly the distributor gasket, or the oil pressure sending unit.

Take it to the car wash, use a can of Gunk Engine Bright or similar engine degreaser (diesel fuel in a spray can) on the area in question, then blast it until it is sterile. Drive the car a bit. Any fresh oil will make a visible trail right to its source.

I had already degrease the engine and ran it to show the leak. I checked valve covers and intake plus oil sending units for leaks none. the only detection cme from the point from the cylinder heads and block joint.
engine was frshly rebuilt with afr heads . I have also checked for any leaks around the pan and smy plugs in the block.

What color is your engine block? High performance D.I.R.T. color?

lol block color is black . I decided to pull the valve covers anyway i believe i found the culprit. Very difficult to see back there and could feel no noticeable residue but the gasket shows leakeage . thanks

Some parts stores sell dye you can put in the oil that glows under UV light so you can find oil leaks, I have never used it so I don't know who sells it.
