Ok this story started like 4 months ago when i bought the car,ran for 2 weeks then.... It would die even when it was reved up it would crap out and be flooded and not start again. Ok I took it to the shop and they said it needed new fuel injectors the #1 was dumping fuel, $720 for the whole job, i said stick it. Did it myself for $169. Brand new accel injectors, car starts and runs better! Runs excellent cruising/reved up! Will even sit and idle ok but it runs rich. But when i come to a stop the idle will crap out and die, same thing if i rev it up and let the rpms fall it goes down to 500 rpm and sputters and dies out. I ran my codes and i get a 43 Oxy sensor rich, and 45 low voltage to electronic spart timing circuit. What the hell!!! argh i'm so sick of this that's exactly where i freaking started!!!!! I replaced all of this
PCV,Plugs,Wires,Rotor,Cap,all 6 injectors,oxygen sensor. What in the hell is left that could make me run rich? and how do i fix the code 45? When I rev it up just a little black smoke comes out. The gas is a little old (2-3 months) i don't think thats the problem though. I looked at the cat about 1 min after i shut it off, and felt it, it wasn't red or burning hot, just normal exhaust hot. What in the hell do I have left to check??? I about ready to pull the 2.8 engine out of my 85 and put it in the 92 and be done!!! Please help this is driving me crazy i worked all day on this thing today and it's still a piece of s#it. Sorry for all the language i can hardly put this frustration into words!
