Car: 84 berlinetta
Engine: 305
Transmission: auto
which distributor for non-cc setup???

really would like to change to non CC setup, when i do which distributor should i use? vacuum or mechanical advance? i will probably pull one from a junk yard, what year make model should i ask for? i have a 84 berlinetta 305--4bbl (my dad has a holley i will probably use)

If you are deadset on changeing to a carb that will get worse gas mileage and perform no better, look for a GM HEI (Vacuum Advance) distributor. Came in just about any mid to late 70's GM anything. Good Luck with it.

Make sure its from a V8, and get the coil with it, may as well, never hurts to have an extra.
