I recently changed my fuel pump on my 90 tbi 305 camaro and sence then have had a weard problom. At first, lets say i was on empty and put in $27.00 of gas to fill up my tank (about 14 gallons), it will take about 15-30 minutse of driving for the needle to go up. I would drive and the needle would go up little by little every time i hit a hard turn, on till it reaches to 1/4 tank ,from there on it will go to full tank. This problem was happening for about a month.

About two days ago the gas needle was a little over 1/4 tank, and didnt see the gas gauge go up or down when i give it gas or step on the brakes. About 5 minutes of driving my car turned off and didnt want to start on because of no fuel.

When i changed my (stock replacement fuel pump) it brought some type of little clips to connect to the electronics that the wires had and didnt do it. Can that be the cause of my problem?

Need help, i really dont want to stay stuck on the road again.
