Window stuck halfway down

Window stuck halfway down

My the motor in my drivers side window has siezed up while halfway down. Is there a manual way to roll it up?

Depends on whether it is raining or not......


There is no manual way. Unless you pull the door apart, remove the motor, and then jam it up. But, if you are going to go that far, might just as well put the new motor in (if that is what it needs) and be done with.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer
Try pulling up on the window, when you push the switch. Then take the door panel off and lube the slides and guides with grease. If that doesn't help test the switch, check for current at the motor. Then go from there.
