where exactly does the oil pressure hook up to

where exactly does the oil pressure guage hook up to? i tried to figure it out but i cant for some reason... thanx

There's a sending unit somewhere on your engine. Typical location for a V8 is the top rear of the block, near the distributor and just rearward of the intake manifold where it seals to the block.

If its an L03, it will be right above your oil filter.

ok cool is it a plastic line or some thing? will it be in the same spot as a 1974 SBC?

im talking about where the gauge hooks up to... thats all i want to know... i just want to have a working oil pressure guage with my 355 in the car... lol
