taking out smog pump and ac compressor..

this weekend, i plan on taking out the smog pump (since their are no emissions on the car anyways) and the a/c compressor (since the a/c dont work) i already have the tech article on how to remove the smog pump and what the new belt should be. im not a genius or anything, but if im gonna take off the a/c compressor, arent i gonna need a smaller belt? if anyone has done this, or has any info, please help....

thanx

If you have a serpintine system you will need the dummy pully for the a/c. The air pump is no problem. I have done it and it really cleand up the engine bay.
