fuel pump quickie question
i have a 1992 Z28. it had a 305 originally.
did the 5.0 and the 5.7 in this year have different fuel pumps, or were they the same?
is the pump for a 305 adequate for my 1995 LT1?

the swap is done, has been for a while now. it is my only car, daily driver, and the pump went out. it is being fixed now. the guy doing the work woulda had it done today, but he ordered a pump for a 5.7l, and he said it was diferent than the 5.0 pump. i thnk he is wrong, being the reason for the post. i dont have any money or time for a high performance pump.

any one?
anyone at all know if these fuel pumps are the same or not? the guy working on the car said they are different. i thnk he is wrong. if they are dofferent i dont see why they would not interchange. i cant imagine GM put different fuel tanks in these cars depending on motor size, especiallty between a 5.0 and a 5.7.
