which plugs to use

I just did an '85 870 ecm to '87 165 ecm swap, don't know what plugs to use.
The 85 5.0 tpi called for R43TS and the 87 5.0 tpi called for R45TS, don't know if the difference is in the motor or the electronics between the two years?
Any suggestions will help.

Heat range is typically determined by head cooling design and compression ratio.

Since both the heads and compression ratio changed in 1987, that's the best explanation for the plug change. I'd stick with the plugs recommended for the engine.
