i purchaced a 91 RS conv't this last month and the key it came with doesn't have the chip in it? sometimes the security light stays on and sometimes it goes off. when the car is running, i can remove the key from the ignition. is there a fix to this or do i have to replace my colum and keys? I'd like to have the key with the chip in it

what are my options? the car is infact a 91, so it should have the chip in the key.

on top of that, is there a way to get the 4th gen, 97+ keyless entry work on a 3rd gen? with the same clicker and all?
