any suggestions

Im in the process of buildn my 91 Z28 with a 350 now im not goin crazy cause im only 17 and im still in school but i just had a couple questions on the things that im doin. I bought a comp cam with a 480 lift on intake and exhaust 110 duration what is any opinions on that cam. then i polishd the heads ported the intake put on a BBK fuelpressure regulator im gonna put the pressure to about 47 PSI what u think about the pressuer for everyday driving (power to gasmilage) and i got some edelbrock shorties goin on along with under drive pulleys. Any opinions on the work that im doin or what are some other suggestions what else could i buy that is no more than $200. My hole goal is to run around a mid 12 i ran a 13.9 bone stock what u think.

Yup, get an entire exhaust system for it... headers, Y-pipe, catback. Replace it ALL. Thats by far the biggest bottleneck on these cars in stock form.

The cam you chose isn't bad, but seems a little small. I'd go for something more in the .500 range. I don't know this for sure, but I think a 110 LSA is a little too narrow for TPI... the computer doesn't like it. 112 LSA might be better.

Whats the duration on that cam BTW?

That sounds more like LSA (lobe separation angle) than duration... duration numbers should be in the mid-low 200s and be measured "@ .050"

Those are the duration numbers you want.

The biggest that will fit, and the one that will work the best are two different cams. What has been done to the engine so far? What do you plan to do to it in the future? Whats its intended use... street? strip? both?

Skip the duration and individual numbers, for now, at least. What cam is it?
