Car problems
Well I got a phone call today from the shop that has had my car for the last 19 days doing some work. They think they spun a main bearing. Damn & this is my birthday as well what a sucky day.
We go up & they were kind of ya know (they had all the shop guys out ready for a fight type thing), But go get a tow dolly (had to go to 3 diff places to find one).
So we get back to Bloods & they help load up the car & we get to talking they are kewl by this time. Kind of understanding that this is my baby & that All I want is the car to get done, They were 99% done with it as well.
Then they show us this, Heres a couple other shots of the Harmonic Balancer, They fixed that.
Then they showed me the start of the dyno stuff they were doing. Max power as of Yesterday:
201.7 @ 4500RPM (@ the rear wheels
) &
282.2 @ 3000RPM
Oh well the rip apart has started now we just have to fig out how to rebuild it lol , NO time like the present to learn huh????

Rebuilt engine for your birthday present, eh?
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
i think the hardest part people have with building and engine, or over hauling one is not being willing to make the investment in time, tools, or parts to be sucessful with the finished product. read your manual, search on here, and even ask a few questions and you'll be ok. there's a couple of guys on here that have built an engine or two.
