Car: 1988 Camaro

Engine: 305 V8

bearing noise?

My engine sounds like it has a bearing rolling around in it somewhere. If I push the accelerator, the noise gets worse and faster. The noise seems to get a little better after the car warms up though. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the engine around the alternator or fan area. Any ideas on what this would be? Thanks.
