why is my car sort of hesitating!?

It's really hard to explain, but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about... If i'm steadily accelerating in like first or second up to about 2500 its kind of hesitating, almost like a light bucking. If I just romp on it from a stop it gets up and goes fine, and once I get past 2500 it smooths out. I just changed the plugs & wires on it, so is the gap on one of them ****ed up maybe (i checked them when i put them in and they all seemed fine). I also know I've got an exhaust leak in at least one of the manifolds, so could uneven back pressure cause that? Maybe something in the induction, like the carb and/or fuel pump? I doubt anyones touched the POS Q-Jet since it left the factory floor, so it could be that. I don't know, someone give me some answers!

I had the same problem on my car. I found out that they plug wire outr insulation was touching a header, and was melted off. I moved the wire off the header, and all is good now
