Been away from thirdgen's far too long, need help!!

Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate on the value today of a '82-'83 Z/28 SMC hood from a CFI car (open ducting

I've had one sitting in my garage since I sold my old '88 sport coupe, and I have someone interested in it, but I don't know how much it's worth.

someone please give me an answer.

Thats kinda a hard one, to some people they are worth alot, to others not so much. I would try for $150 maybe more if it was me, depends what he wanted it for. Restoring, ask for a lot more, weight savings, not so much.

Sup 13secpacecar! I'm Ultra Magnus on Clubgp. I totalled my GTP a little over a month ago and bought my 4th 3rd Gen. Anyway, thought I'd say hey!

Sorry this adds nothing to your post.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay. Wrecking yard prices go anywhere from $40-$120. I only paid $35 for my TA CFI power buldge hood from a GM only yard.

Looks just like a regular '82-84 Z28 hood, but made of fibreglass.

So it can kinda be all over, eh??

it's alot lighter than the stock hood. @ least this one I'd have no problem carrying around for a bit.

I swear I recall someone selling one on the classifieds for $200 or $250 around 3 years ago.

hood looks like this.

Wow, I kinda miss my old camaro.
