steering wheel problem
Well, i purchased my 91 camaro about a week and a half ago. The only problem i can find is that the steering wheel looks like you are making a right turn when your going straight. The car still drives fine, but its just weird. Do you think i just need to take the steering wheel off, and put it back on right? Have any of you encountered this problem?, and even if you haven't does anyone have any advice for me?
Thanks, Mike

Sounds like one of 2 things:
1.) The steering wheel was simply just installed incorrectly on the steering shaft splines, or:
2.) The car needs an alignment. Sounds like someone adjusted the tie-rods but did not lock the steering wheel in place when they did it, and/or the alignment is just bad. First thing I would do is take your car to a reputable shop and get a wheel alignment done. If the steering wheel is still off-center, than more than likely it was just installed incorrectly (like you mentioned).
