New Parts

I am not sure if this is where I should post this but I am going to anyway. I just recieved a few new part for my car and figured I would share them

New SLP Plenum Runners

New MSD Blaster Coil

K&N filter for custom CAI

I do have a question about installing the SLP runners. Reading the instructions it says you have a lot of cables and hoses that need to be disconnected to istall these runners. Can't you just unbolt the factory runners and then slip these down into place then tighten them back down. Let me know from anyone who has done this already.

Not appearance and detailing related... maybe general engine so I'll move it there.

You'll have to disconnect things like the throttle/TV/cruise cables from the throttle body and various connectors that attach to the plenum (two vacuum ports on the pass. side and the MAT on the underside of the plenum).. The plenum comes out first, then you can work on the bottom bolts to the runners.. Don't forget the bolts that go into the runners the opposite direction! You might end up having to undo the injector wiring if it gets in your way, but maybe not...

Did you convert to SD or are you replacing the entire canister with the cone filter?

Hopefully he knows that he has to keep his MAF as part of his custom cold air intake...

No I didnt convert to SD and yes I do know that I need to keep the MAF. I already have the design for the CAI that I got from someone on here already. Just need to get the piping for the CAI then I can put it all together.
