wats a good way to get cleance for true duals?

Car: 1991 pontiac firebird
Engine: 305 V8 flo-pro exhaust
Transmission: automatic 700r4 4speed
Axle/Gears: stock 2.73's :(
wats a good way to get cleance for true duals?

my 87 z28 got true dual exhausts with no cats running into two turbo mufflers they sit really low how can i get more clearance i got have 16X8 rims goin in them will that help out over the stock 15's??

If you do it the right way, then your tires will shrink 3 inches when you get the 18 inch tires, so that your speedometer isnt off...

As for more clearance w/ true duals... there's no great way for routing them with as good as stock ground-clearance. The most "ingenious" way I have seen of gaining ground clearance w/ true duals so far is banging the floorboard up and shoving the pipes up there .

I dont know if I would do that though, seeing as the floorboard is part of the unibody, and in a crash, it may fatally effect your crumple zones around the passenger compartment.

If your car is lowered, get stock height springs, that should gain you a couple inches give or take.
