Need Your Help! IROC Still Failing emmissions +Heres The Codes+

I pulled an 86 truck engine and swapped all of the TPI and Emmissions equip from my 86 Iroc to the new block.
Engine was rebuilt new crane cam(base modle); new flat head pistons, bored .30.

Iroc is burning the gas too rich and will not pass emmissions. The HC is at like 6000 the mechanic told me.

*** Service Engine Soon light throwing codes 12 and 36***

-When Battery was unplugged for 10 mins and replugged it only threw code 12, after driving it and re-starting it again the car threw code 36.

Additional Info:

- Idles Rough At the Start of the car (likes its going to stall and does sometimes)--probly because of the gas burning so rich Then it will eventually stop running rough like its going to stall and run good

- If I rev the engine or while its Idleing the Oil Gauge Bounces a lil bit

Code 12 isn't really a code, it just tells you it's in diagnostic mode.

Code 36 I think is something to do with the MAF or MAF burnoff something or other. Do a search for code 36*

I did and got this thread, among others. HTH
