Where to start (tune-up question)
Where to start (tune-up question)
All right, as I posted a little while ago, I just recently got an '84 Camaro. This car has a few problems, one of the more annoying of which is that it has quite a bit of trouble starting when cold. Now, I know that most people would recommend that I do a complete tune-up. I was looking through an internet parts sight and there's all sorts of parts to the distributor that I've never even heard of. For example, what are distributor points? I guess I'd like to know EXACTLY which parts I need in order to do a tune-up. I know about distributor cap/rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, etc. Are there any other parts that I need to know about? Thanks in advance

Points are '74-earlier. You don't need them.
Air filter, PCV valve, PCV filter (goes in the air filter housing), O2 sensor. Make sure all of the vacuum lines are in good shape and connected.
